As a Private Sponsor

Private sponsors are called

"Theater Angels,"

and for good reason.

As an individual donor supporting community theater Your donations have the strength to enhance the quality of life of those living in Weld County and surrounding areas. We’ve all heard  “Laughter is good medicine” and the data is mounting about the positive effects laughter has on us. Yes it’s true - A good laugh has great short and long-term effects. When you start to laugh, it doesn't just lighten your load mentally, it actually induces physical changes in your body. Laughter enhances your intake of oxygen-rich air, stimulates your heart, lungs and muscles, and increases the endorphins that are released by your brain. These reasons along should be why the majority of Miss Abbagail’s Playhouse production will be comedies.

Theater productions don’t just magically show up on stage. It takes months of planning, fabrication and rehearsals, all of which is done off stage and behind the scenes. In addition each production has to pay royalties and production license fees well in advance of even beginning pre-production, let alone the need to pay workshop rent, utilities and other overhead costs as well as fabrication materials. Miss Abbagail’s Angels are our dedicated friends and supporters, the sustaining life-force of our theater program.

It is during this off stage production time that provides us the opportunities for young adults to learn "Industrial & Fine Arts" skills that they can take with them outside of the theater environment. Skills that will make them more valuable employees to other businesses and more valuable to their families, friends and community. Miss Abbagail’s Angels pave the way for Miss Abbagail's Playhouse to bring individuals together who may have otherwise never meet and thereby learned from each other.

Miss Abbagail’s Angels are those who find it in their hearts to designate a monthly gift to help cover the backstage production costs through charitable giving. Your small but steady donations will bring laughter, drama, music, and inspiration as well as exciting theatrical learning experiences and creative performance opportunities to our community. Help enhance our region’s quality of life; make a donation today and become one of

Miss Abbagail’s Angels.
